ANCIENT STONE MEDICINE WHEEL TEACHINGS/WORKSHOPS

This workshop is very special, usually held in a group of 20 to 30 people, where the participant partakes in the making of their very own Stone Medicine Wheel; the stone is prepared in rough-cut by David himself, AND  he takes the group on a journey during their time with him,  giving teachings of  the process of sanding, finishing, and adorning the wheel with all natural beads, feathers, and leather; all while teaching the meaning of this ancient teaching, and what it can mean for the person's life.

ANIMATION - MUSIC BUILDING/MINI CONCERT

This workshop allows participants of all ages; youth, students, adults to learn about world instrumentation, their origins, demonstration of instrument, with instruction by David who is a multi-instrumentalist and has released numerous albums of his world fusion music throughout the Globe.  This hands-on workshop allows the group to be immersed, builds confidence, and opens a whole new world to those not exposed to traditional and rare world Instrumental music.  Music is the medicine; it unites people of all cultures and creed.  David's collection features rare world instruments from various countries such as China, Australia, Switzerland, India, and of course the Traditional Love Flute of the Haudenosaunee Peoples, his  Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka culture and teachings.

ANIMATION - SCULPTING DEMO/SNOW-SNAKE TRADITIONAL IROQUOIN SPORT DEMO

Indigenous Haudenosaunee peoples have long practiced this unique winter sport, originally used to settle a dispute in communities, the Kanyen’kehá:ka peoples crafted snow snakes and a lengthy track and would gather their whole community for these outdoor games, even to this day during Winter Ceremonies. David has been a Snow Snake player for many years, even competing in competitions across Turtle Island in the past, and has also crafted his own Snow Snakes in various lengths, Mud puppys, Minnows, etc.,  and knowledge keeper of this traditional ancient sport and can be ANIMATED for various groups, of all ages.

MEDITATION/MULTI-INSTRUMENTAL WORKSHOPS

To Indigenous Peoples around the world, the drum is known  as the HEART BEAT of Mother Earth.  There are many teachings that this instrument can give, but there are thousands of varieties of drums throughout the globe.  David is a master percussionist and will bring together in this workshop, teachings from many cultures, including the HAND drum of the Plains Cree, Dakota/Lakota peoples; the WATER drum of the Haudenosaunee-Mohawk peoples, and the African Djembes, AND SO MANY MORE....but the most rare is the HANG-HUNG DRUM of Switzerland.  David was gifted this beautiful instrument by a dear friend who made the arduous trip to Switzerland to meet with the makers of this rare instrument.
